Government Senior Secondary School Bermiok Tokal South Sikkim is a reputed Government Educational Institution aided by the Government of Sikkim, which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The medium of instruction is English and is a co-educational school. It has classes from LKG to XII.

The following are the Scholastic Curriculum Part-A and subject combinations on the basis of the standard levels:-

Vernacular or Secondary Languages: Nepali, Lepcha, Bhutia, Tamang and Hindi (compulasory subject for classes I to VIII and from IX onwards Hindi is offered as an equivalent subject to other languages). It is compulsory for the students to study one of these languages.

3) Commerce: 
Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and additional subject (Physical Health Education or Mathematics)

 

3) Information Technology (IT): 
a) Class XI: IT Tools (Paper I), Web Applications (Paper II), Business Studies and additional subject (Physical Health Education or Mathematics)
b) Class XII: Database Management System (Paper I), Web Applications (paper II), Business Studies and additional subject (Physical Health Education or Mathematics)
